THE MILLBROOK INN POLICIES



COVID 19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
Our wish is for you to enjoy our beautiful inn worry-free. In order to do so, we require all our guests to be FULLY vaccinated and boosted prior to their arrival. At this time, please understand the inn CANNOT check-in anyone who arrives without proper ID and proof of a vaccine/booster; and you will unfortunately forfeit your deposit. We strongly advise you take pictures of your vaccination cards on your phone; or if you are a New Yorker, use the excelsior app to register your vaccinations and to ensure a worry-free check-in. This requirement ALSO APPLIES to local friends and family who may visit you on the property. Please refer to our "Stay Safe" section on the Policies page of our website for more informaton.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in is 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. In order to give rooms the proper attention required for the next guest, all guests must check-out by 11:00 on the day of departure. After 11:00 AM, Late fees could be charged at the management's discretion. Please speak to the front desk if you need more time and we will try our best to accomodate you.

DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS
A credit card deposit for 50% of your total stay plus tax will be charged upon booking. The remainder will be paid upon your arrival.

CHILDREN
We welcome all guests 13 years of age and above. Anyone under the age of 21 must travel with an adult.

PETS
We love our pets too, but we can't accomodate them on the property.

PARKING
We are located in a rural, residential setting, and have a small parking lot. There is only ONE spot allocated for EACH room. If you do arrive in more than one car during a fully booked time, please be aware you may have to park the second car in a public lot in town, 15 minutes away. Call ahead and we can advise. Please lock your and don't leave valuables inside.

NON SMOKING PROPERTY
Smoking or Vaping of any kind is NOT allowed inside the inn or on its patios. There is a minimum $300 cleaning fee charge automatically assessed for any smoking violation.

CANCELLATION, EARLY DEPARTURE, OR NO SHOW
The Millbrook Inn is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 14 days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation for a full refund. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 14 days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, you will be responsible for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund absolutely will be made.

ACT OF GOD CANCELLATION POLICY
Part of the charm of our property is that we are located in the country. Although we are equipped with a full generator, it is still possible the inn could be without internet, wireless, or kitchen services for a few hours or a few days, depending on the severity of a storm. If it's only for a few hours during your stay, we ask you to be patient with us while we address the situation. In the rare event we need to cancel your booking due to a major power outtage, we will refund any payments you have already made; or gladly rebook you for another date.

DAMAGES
The Millbrook Inn is filled with beautiful art, antiques, and luxurious fabrics, sheets, and bedding. We hope you respect them as much as you enjoy them! But in the unlikely event that damage occurs to them, you may be responsible for the cleaning, repair, or replacement. This will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Stay Safe Measures

Our wish is for you to enjoy our beautiful inn and all its public spaces.  In order to do so, we require our guests be FULLY vaccinated and boosted prior to their arrival (please read our important vaccination policy, above). This requirement ALSO APPLIES to restaurant diners and local friends or family who may visit you on our property. 
 
 Masks will NOT be required for guests and diners on the property; but we ask that everyone respect those that choose to wear them.

This policy is both for your safety as well as the health AND safety of everyone here, who's job it is to make your stay enjoyable, delicious, and safe.

OUR SAFETY STANDARDS

OUR STAFF
Our staff  is fully vaccinated and boosted, and trained in current COVID health and safety protocols.
In addition, our servers are masked in the dining room. 

WE ARE CLEAN!
We clean frequently touched surfaces (like doorknobs and bannisters) throughout the day; our dining areas are thoroughly cleaned between every service; and hand sanitizer is available in all public spaces and your guest room. Complimentary masks are always available to those who want them. 

WE ARE DISTANCED!
Our dining tables maintain safe distancing during breakfast, which is not open to the public.
We are open to the public for dinner,and our tables are slightly closer during that time.

WE ARE KEYLESS!
On the day of your arrival, your credit card on file will be charged the remainder of your stay, 
so no need to present us with a credit card or sign any paperwork. 
You will receive a unique code gives you wireless access your room door with your phone;
as well as the public doors around the property. There is a manual option as well.
