Innsider: March 2024

Pink flowers blooming in Millbrook NY

I write this to you as I watch the (hopefully) last snow of the season melt…and our team is filled brimming with excitement with the sense that Spring is just around the corner. As much as we love the purity of snow-covered trees through the paned windows of the inn; we miss our peonies and daffodils popping up from the ground, bringing with them the promise of a new lush, green season in the Hudson Valley. And here in the Hudson Valley, we don’t wake up slowly from our Winter slumber: we jump right out of bed! Easter Weekend is the last week of March, and all over the area, our parks and flea markets reopen, festivals begin, and the food scene celebrates with Hudson Valley Spring Restaurant Week! Read on for some amazing reasons to travel here this early Spring!

As you know, our mission at the inn is to provide you with an authentic and luxurious Hudson Valley experience, and we do that through highlighting local food, spirits, wine, and home products and decor made or with provenance in the Hudson Valley.
